Some interesting facts about sleep that you probably didn't know. Everything from facts about sleep deprivation to REM sleep, to methods to reset the sleep-wake clock.
A few of the 40 facts below:
- Some studies suggest women need up to an hour's extra sleep a night compared to men, and not getting it may be one reason women are much more susceptible to depression than men.
- Ducks at risk of attack by predators are able to balance the need for sleep and survival, keeping one half of the brain awake while the other slips into sleep mode.
- Exposure to noise at night can suppress immune function even if the sleeper doesn’t wake. Unfamiliar noise, and noise during the first and last two hours of sleep, has the greatest disruptive effect on the sleep cycle

Spis en kjempemiddag - Eat a giant dinner
Kjøre fortere - Drive faster
Drikke kaffe og brus - Drink coffee and soda
Skru på aircondition-anlegget - Turn on the aircondition

Ikke gå på do - Don't go to the bathroom

Another one is the huge "use your seatbelt" posters all around the roads. These posters are being adopted by the russians too...

Hahaha, I do, but I also work with an install 'team' of people. And as a team we can only go as fast as the slowest person. Unfortunately we just hired a very very slow person to replace our Unix person. Anyone out there that knows SCO Unix?? :D
