I don't know who will actually buy such a huge display for personal use, but I can see quite a few pubs and sports bars picking up one of these for their patrons' enjoyment.

it's an LCD, so that's good. doesn't say anything about what resolution(s) it can run though.

Sharp has been meeting the demand for high image quality by achieving resolution (4096 x 2160 pixel) four times higher than the current HD, the world’s highest contrast ratio (1 million:1) and fast full-motion video response rate (4 msec, 120 Hz).

I'm guessing that that resolution applies to this 108V model as well.

I guess they achieve that resolution through shear size! But i wonder about the clarity, you'll prolly have to stand at the 50 yard line to get a clear picture ;)
