Booger's Out

[Big Booger]

I decided to booger off from Techzonez. It's been a great 5 year ride, I made a lot of good internet friends, and helped make a niche for a group of some of the best. But as the saying goes, "All good things must come to an end." I will be leaving Techzonez effective today.

I hate to go but it's a necessity and I will miss being here. I never thought in a million years I'd be leaving this community. I thought I'd grow old and die posting on these forums. However, things have changed and I have changed.

I wish you all the best and hope that Techzonez will be your place for years to come to get your tech news and support from, to talk with friends and to freely discuss things that you find interesting or helpful to others.

As for myself, I'll get on, but I will miss it here. Have a good one gents and ladies.

Damn man im sorry to hear you will be going.You have been a member here since i first joined and have helped me quite a bit with my questions and all.I didnt know you as well as many others probally do but it will be a shame to see you gone.I hope everything works out for you and that you still stop by from time to time.Good luck

I can't imagine what TZ would be like without you Big Booger. I hope that someday you'll miss us and come back in whatever capacity it may be, whether as an Admin or as a regular member.

I can still remember the days when we were a bunch of forum orphans after Peppy's forum went down. Reverend, Booger, Phishhead, Egghead and myself always stuck together on whatever forum we became members. I'm so sad for this to happen as you were a cornerstone of the development of this now big and popular forum that we strove to achieve.

Maybe it was a little over the top, but I was genuinely shocked and disappointed.
My intention was not to affront any members, it’s just Boogs is a prolific poster and comes up with constant and interesting information, as well as some seriously crazy links. What I was trying to say is, without his abundant input the links will be mostly tech related (yeah I know it’s a tech forum) ~ but it was always fun to see what other things the world was up to.

A sad day. Been absent for a while, so just spent time ascertaining the underlying reason for this turn of events. The thread was both valid and thought provoking, it was also obviously heartfelt. Legitimate points of the opposite view were also made and the potential for a considered debate (excluding political rhetoric) was there. That this should be the end result is a disappointment at best. Good luck in your future endeavours.

But definitely others have stepped up. Egg and Efc have been doing great work with new articles, and tech discussions.

Mr Big Booger is an interesting, intelligent, creative, thought provoking, Caring individual who is a proud pioneer member of Techzonez.com and I feel he just wants a little time with the family and loving wife to escape the daily grime of the internet and all it has to teach all of us,


I have admired Big Booger for the past five years that we have known each other and I will continue to hope he is doing well and I truly believe that he is coming back in a new operating system form without the bugs that is troubling all of us and we as people that strive to learn from the web will rejoice at the new technology he has discovered and is anxious to announce here.

Boogs has some personal issues in his life at the moment that he wants to sort out.

I would like to stress, on his behalf, that none of these issues are related to Techzonez. In fact he has told me that he does not rule out a return in the future.

On describing Techzonez he said "I love that place. And I do lurk in dark shadows. It's not a habit easily given up... in fact it's worse that a cocaine addiction".

This is what happens when I am absent too long. I hope hope he comes back someday, mainly now that I am getting my life and calendar back on track and I will have more time to hang around in the forums.
I have myself been in and out a lot. I had a very crazy year, and still every once in a while I would come back. Everytime I have a problem I think...humm someone at TZ could help me out with this.

Still no sign of BB (after a quick search since not being online for 5 months)... I would like to wish him a very happy festive season, and that Santa is kind to him and his 100Mbps Fiber connection :D
