I have found another Reg Tweak that I had to redue after installing SP 1. You may want to check on you system...

87. Enable UDMA/66 mode on IDE Channels
Even if DMA is enabled on IDE channels, by default UDMA/66 mode is disabled. You can improved disc performance by enabling it. Open registry by going to START-RUN and entering REGEDIT and Navigating to [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\ {4D36E96A-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}\0000]. In right pane look for a key by the name "EnableUDMA66". If it is there, set its value to 1 if it is not already set to 1. If not, add a dword entry by the name "EnableUDMA66" and set its value to 1.

Source? XPTuneup

NOTE: Be sure that you understand how Reg Tweaks can affect you sytem. Always do a Registry back up before making any changes. You can also create a restore point under system restore.

I've attached the reg file.unzip it,and double click the reg file to enter it in the registry.

BTW,if you have an Intel Chipset board, install the Intel Application Accelerator (http://downloadfinder.intel.com/scripts-df/Detail_Desc.asp?ProductID=663&DwnldID=4625) utility and it will automatically set all your drives to their correct UDMA settings without the need to edit the registry. ;)
