Blank DVDs

Hi

Is there a lot of difference in quality between using a blank dvd that is 16x and 8x. Is it perfectly ok to use 8x disks on a writer that is 16x?

You can use 8x DVD's in your burner, the drive will only burn @the media's supported rate.

The better 8x DVD media (Taiyo Yuden) will burn @12x just fine :)
