Reverend do you by chance have the link to that site with the icons that you posted up on the other board. The one with the glass looking XP icons?
Thanks

schwing,
That's it gents,
By and large I'd say together you all contribute to the overall postiveness of the internet and especially the community of forum users .
Anyone know of a convenient way of installing these without having to manually select the icons to represent each program or folder?
That would be a big help too!
Thanks.

I thought that software link was for creating the icons, not changing them, thanks for drawing my attention to the correct location.

just as a friendly reminder, sometimes one program doesn't work, don't feel bad, just try another one ;-)

microangelo doesn't like 128x128 icons sometimes,
but I like the right click ad-on they put onto icons.

iconshop can be slow to reading some of them, it's the best program to convert mac to xp icons as well as create your own icon library!!! (i prefer it over microangelo)

e-icons is nice, (used it only a few times)

iphile is great for chancing the icons (it's a freebie by scrow from virtual plastic)

well you can always just go hacking your .dlls ;-)

Thanks babis for that info. It seems you have been up to changing the icons on your machine. YOu should post a how to on this, loaded with screenshots, or if you know a place that offers something like a tutorial with screenshots, that'd be great too,

Mavis wrote an excellent tutorial about changing icons, I personally think it's one of the best online...
