Powerpoint 2000 to powerpoint 97

When i save a pwp presentation made with pwp 2000 in a pwpt 97 format and try to open it, it says. The presentation may content asian letters or symbols. How can I open these presentations without this message box.

why not leave it in office2000 format and in the pc with office 97 just install the plugin to read the office 2000 format

There are a lot of ms office 97 machines. Where can I find a office 2000 plug in?
