I just picked up Call of Duty 4 and I have to say this game is great! Are there any plans to make a TZ clan so we can own other players lol.

Isn't it!!!.....I would be up for that....calling in air strikes is kick butt....the intensity of some of the "fire fights" is radical...and the level where your on the A130 gun ship protecting the troops as they work their way to the extraction point is awesome.....only thing I can say to the gamers here is "get the game, get the game, get the game".....lol...GET THE GAME.....:D

Man I have been playing this a lot so far. I’m already at rank 20, and I love the silencer on the M16 and the UAV jammer perk. That It is hard to see me since I done show up as a red dot when I’m owning the enemy lol. Just cant wait to get to rank 23 and get the sweet sweet claymore's. :)

LOL, i just got the game... installed it only laptop, just to check it out.. but can't get good picture... finally installed it over weekend on proper desktop, and this game is so beautiful! Only done the test range (17 seconds)! Need to dedicated several gaming hours... might send the girlfriend out with her friends this weekend :)

My cousin and I have a COD_2 clan, that we are migrating to COD_4... I'll get the new server details and post it asap! Look for =MDTK= ... say D1Shooter or Caprice sent you ;)

Haha.. good to hear! We are a pretty diverse group... although in recent months it has dropped off, with are nederlands contigent being poached by UAN and others.

Excellent progression through the ranks, does this only work for multiplayer mode on ranked servers.. or can you play in a LAN to increase rank?!

Each rank has a exp cap like 200 point 10000 point and ect. For each kill you get that is 10 point or 2 point of helping to kill some one. But you make you real exp by completing challanges. for example a 30 foot drop will give you 500 point off of completing that challange. Some for for 10 kils by knife, 25 kill by head shot and so on. Also you have to level each rank three times to advance to the next level. So you will get PVT -> PVT1 -> PVT2 then PFC. that hols true for all the ranks.

I don’t know if there is a list that you can view online yet, but I know in multi player you can view all the challenges. It is located on the same menu as “Create a class” :)

Oh My! I started playing the Multiplayer of COD4.. hehe, i'm only ranked Level 8, but it is very good! going through the challenges now to unlock more tools of the trade - It is tough though, trying to shoot against level 55 !

Lot of fun though, think i stayed up til 5am one night.. argh!

Just got the game today have maybe 3.5 hours logged already lvl 29 I think or 30, I'll try to log onto those couple of servers. I'm not in a clan but my name is Solo xfire name is nathanls14 (I think) lol can't remember. I love this game though just haven't had all that much time to play it yet.

I'm finding online play is a little harder to compete against tons of lvl 55 with me only being lvl 14 :( But i guess that's the hard part for trying to win the challenges :D

As far as custom classes right now go for me, I just add the weapons I need to do more challenges and just add the updated things such as scopes and sights. I'll wait to make a real custom class once I have everything.

My favorite custom class is the PK90 with silencer + M4 with grenade launcher and my perks are perk 1 = grenade launcher Perk 2 = Overkill allows me to have two main weapons and Perk 3 = the one that drop a hand grenade when you die I forget what it is call.

The weapon I stink at are sniper rifles and the M14.

I agree Nate, I'm trying the challenges so match the guns to the classes... LD, that PK90 is a good combination, i've seen it a bit, silencer makes u invisible on map during shooting - i use UAV jammer a lot!

It was good playing with you the other night Cash. I do see what you was talking about as far as ping rating. I was in the range 300 – 400 MS and the game play was choppy. So I can imagine it would be like that for you on the GOB servers. Maybe we can find a server some where in between where we both have pretty good ping rates. I have to say my game play was severely reduced, and my FPS was at 7 – 10 lol. So every thing was choppy. Ill start looking for a server between us some where and see if we both can get a ping of 100 or less with it.

Before I forget it looks like you have mastered the knife, I know I got the point on it a few times lol.

HI LD! Yeah it was awesome seeing you COD_4 the other night - I can understand about the pings, but you still were getting the high scores!! You've got lots of skills!

Haha... yeah my knife tricks - i had to learn the hard way, but this little grasshoper was shown the way. I usually try to infiltrate enemy lines, knife streak 2 or 3, then spray and pray the rest = AirStrike or Heli most maps :)

After you left, i got a 27kill streak on WetWork/Ship...lol. I think i played 24 hours straight that weekend.

It would be good to get a server with low pings for us, but my biggest problem is australia is 6000 miles from anywhere! Maybe Guam, or Hawaii, Singapore? I think i get 100-200 to Europe...

Doesnt matter, i'll just play in USA, im used to the high-pings (I just go sniper then and camp, put the tent up, cook some meat, and enjoy the frags)

@Nate, when do you usually play? I've seen you online a couple of times on Xfire, but no gaming?

Hawaii maybe a winner for us, ill check them out as well. Also I made my third star last night and unlocked the 50 CAL sniper rifle. Man this weapon Rocks. Also I changed my PK90 set up. Now it is a PK90 with red dot, M16A2 with silencer (sniping) Claymores, Deep impact and the one that drops the grenade when I’m killed. The reason I picked the M16 is I can sniper off player very easily with that weapon and its 3 round burst. So if I find a nice quiet area to set up ill go into sniper mode but if I can find an area ill use the PK90.

Lol when I logged into the server we was on the map I hate, Showdown. For some reason I stink on that map. I may only get 10 – 15 kills max. But the two maps I do the best in are overgrown and downpour. In downpour I line running behind enemy line and get the mounted machine gun on the deck and kill the enemy from behind. Yea I will shot them in the back; hey it’s the safest way.

Congrats on your third star, i heard it starts getting difficult to rank up near the top! 50 Cal, i'm always afraid of that gun... no safe spot on the map, especially combined with Deep Impact goes straight through walls, metal lol no hides spots!

That's a nice PK setup, most peeps seem to be using it (cos of the large ammo) but i find it a bit under-powered - can't beat M4 with bandolier and double tap! I biggest trouble with M16 is i can't click the mouse quick enough, it's similar to G3, better for middle distance shooting.

Yeah overgrown and downpour are good maps... It's definitly a big advantage owning that Machine Gun! cos you destroy eerything in the house/tractor barn... i usually sit behind that MG building getting sneaks trying to kill my gunner :p ... also the silos is a good hunting ground with claymores everywhere!

@Stripe, have you managed to get COD_4 yet, weren't you getting it for xmas? we need some more players!

Just made a personal best on total kills last night, on downpour I got 107 kills by the end of the game. Also on the map Crash I found the perfect sniper spot. It is in a part of the map no one really goes too and you have clear line of sight to 2 of the major building roof tops.

WOW, that's is an amazing score! How many with the Mounted MG? haha :D Were you doing the airstrike / heli SPAM on the spawn points? I can't seem to get more than 20 or 30 kills :(

Sniper on Crash? Man, they just need a silencer on those rifles then you'll be invisible! Do you have the 50cal?

Lol yea I got behind them and used the MG on the other team. Then after that I used a ton of Air strikes. After one air stike I got 5 kill in a row off of it and called in another one and then another one. Also I go to the MG three time they did not learn to guard it lol so I made them pay for it. Also I had random claymores set up as I was moving to the location. As for the 50 Cal sniper rifle I unlocked it at rank 49 and that weapon is sweet. Fast fire rate, 15 round clip and will shoot through almost every thing.

Also planting C4 in high traffic area and waiting for a group of people to go there is always fun. BOOM!!!!!!!!!!
