Does anyone know where to get a decent price on a Wii? They were supposed to go for $250 but are not available anywhere near that price and if they are, they are sold out in minutes. My family wants to get this for my 15 year old nephew because he deserves it. He's a straight A student in advanced college level mathematics (whatever is beyond calculus) - a good kid.
My sister is divorced so the whole family wants to get this for him. His dad is a cheating scumbag and hardly supports his kids.

I actually had my brother pick one up for me in a different state and ship it to me. Didn't feel like paying the inflated price that the greedy people wanted for it.

You could go to Walmart, game stop or EB games and have it ordered for you.

Wii got our's at T-R-Us. Just walked in, stood in line, got it. Bought two actually, sold the other to a neighbor.

Get up early, camp out. Get Wii-Play (comes with additional remote) also. That way you'll have two remotes w/nunchucks.

nunchuck ~n~ Mother Superior technicolor yawn.
Nintendo deliberately made a conservatively-estimated no-more-than-they-could-sell.

I've been calling several stores several times each day and getting the same reply - nope and we don't know when.
Fils-Aime dismissed the idea that Nintendo was intentionally constraining supply of the Wii as a sales tactic. "A shortage benefits no one," he said. "We're disappointed. This was all about how we didn't accurately estimate demand. We need to be more bullish about the potential for the Wii." http://www.dailytech.com/Nintendo+President+Reggie+FilsAime+Cant+Find+a+Wii/article9807.htm

heh, the kid already plays games all day. He hardly studies and gets straight A's. My sister can't complain about his game play because his grades are perfect. I can't imagine being 15 years old and already done with calculus. I never even got to calculus myself.

Oh, one of 'those' students hey.. hmm.. perhaps suduko or DSLite with the brainTease game would be good :)
Else, just download virtuaGirl :p ....j/k
On topic, Australia's Wii Supply seems a bit tight too, they get sold out on each delivery to the Shops. I think the best bet would just to put an order into a Games store, and just wait it out. OR, buy a Wii Game for xmas with a note saying that the Console is in the Post :D

it's another of the 3 biggest lies in the world, the others being "The check is in the mail" and "this is going to hurt me more than it hurts you."
