I'm signed up for the BBC's iPlayer service which lets me download programs as DRM-protected files which are coded to have an expiry date and only run on my PC.
Watching them on the PC is OK for me but no good when my wife and I want to watch something.
Is there any easy,1-click kind of way I can burn these to a straight DVD-R to watch on our DVD player in the living room? Is it legal to do this?

Download FairUse4WM - to strip DRM protection from Windows Media Player 10,11 WMV,WMA - Audio/video stream recording forums
FairUse4WM is a GUI version of drmdbg. FairUse4WM 1.3 fix-2 supports Windows Media Player 9,10, and WMP 11 Final with version 11.0.6000.6324 and lower.
Basic requirements:
Only works on individualized DRM file
Requires Windows Media Player 9, 10 or 11 (doesn't work with WMP 11 with versions higher than 11.0.6000.6324). Works on Windows XP, Vista x32/x64
Works with both individualized content and some DRMv1 files
The program's functioning can be verified by stripping DRM protection from Demo files from ezdrm.com, as well as those from other Microsoft Solution partners.
This program is ONLY designed and intended to enable fair-use rights to PURCHASED media.
- While the developer haven't been able to support license expiration/rental detection, please don't use this to abuse rental license
- This code does NOT allow import of KID/SID pairs to preclude its use for piracy
Note that some WM installations will have multiple ECC key-pairs, so you will likely have to "Extract Keys" using multiple licensed files. If you find a file that doesn't convert, try extracting keys wth it. Once your whole set of keys is extracted, you will no longer need to run WM per file.

Make sure you have individualization your system. Visit the following URL to automatically individualize your system http://services.wmdrm.windowsmedia.com/indivSite/en/indivit.asp
We've tested FairUse4WM and can confirm that it quickly and easily strip the DRM protection from Napster (http://all-streaming-media.com/downloadable-audio-and-video/Napster-free-music-service.htm) and Yahoo! Music Unlimited (http://all-streaming-media.com/downloadable-audio-and-video/Yahoo-Music-Unlimited-Cheap-music-subscription-service.htm). So now you can simply strip DRM protection from PlaysForSure media services. And this lossless DRM removing allows you to make your Windows Media files playable after you're no longer paying fees on your music subscription service (http://all-streaming-media.com/downloadable-audio-and-video/).

Not all these links still work. And this only works on supported formats.
