Microsoft WSE 3.0 Runtime Problem

I'm trying to install a program from Ancestry.com but can't get it to work. All i get is the error message below.....


Component Microsoft WSE 3.0 Runtime has failed to install with the following error message:
"Fatal error during installation. "

Looking at the price & effort to do the rest, i think i'll let it lie....
Not worth the effort!
