Overclocking Athlons is an effective, and free way to get more out of your rig. FSB is one part of the equation, and unlocking the multiplier is another part. It isn't that easy to unlock an Athlon XP, but we look at a kit that makes unlocking a snap to do.unlocking kit (http://www.viperlair.com/reviews/cpu_mobo/amd/xp_unlock/unlock.shtml)

There's also other interesting hardware items from the same article here (http://www.theinquirer.net/?article=6144)
including an adapter card that lets you connect up an AGP card AND a PCI card into a single PCI slot.

I wish I had known about the PCI to AGP adapter. That is cheap to at around 40 bucks US. I wonder if the speeds are the same?

I can see 2 problems with this pci/agp adapter that would turn me off it. First off the cards would run too close together so that your top card would get very little cooler air onto the gpu/fan.
And secondly if you are running cards with decent cooling fans it doesnt look as they would fit together. Or even if your top card didnt require a fan then your second card would get the excess heat from the top card.

would work great with an ATI fanless version. Also, Zalman makes the cooler that would sit on top of both cards and blow air down between the PCI and AGP cards.
But I agree they should have added a tad bit more space between the cards.
