View Full Version : Got My Turbo and Rotors installed Today!

Whew what a day, after spending 12 hours in the speedshop (9am to 9pm!) my turbo and competition rotors are installed! The turbo is a "Hybrid" T25 meaning its a size T25 on the intake side but it is bigger than normal on the exhaust side (which means it will spin faster). My boost is also pre-set to 1kg. from the stock level of .7. What does this translate to? Well after doing a test-drive the power really hits harder now when the turbo comes on, it's enough to scare me since I'm not yet used to it! Flooring the accelerator results in an immediate power slide!
The rotors look great!

That is a lot of money spent for power to get home to check into TECHZONEZ and see what is going on.......

Thats impressive Conan.
How did they manage to squeeze that turbo into your Honda Civic. 0 - 60 mph in 1 hour.
Still won't beat my GSXR600: 0 - 60 mph in 2.95 secs ;)

Ahem, for the people who don't know, my car is a Nissan Sylvia S14, the smaller brother of the world beating Nissan Skyline. It's okay man, I know that bikes rock when it comes to acceleration no contest there, even if I had a Ferrari I would still lose a 0-60 race with you!
Here's a sample pic of how my car looks like (mine is color blue):

Nice work Conan, sounds sweet to have all that power grunting underneath your foot.
Can you tell me if your car uses the SR20DET engine, cause Ive heard a lot of good things about this Nissan motor and its capabilites to be able to handle a lot of tweaking.
