Techzonez and klipfolio

I just noticed that Techzonez now has three separate klips for news, coming for the techzonez main page:
MAIN
SOFTWARE
And
HARDWARE

I just added all three.. very nice and convenient.. I guess I missed it when these were updated. If you did too, you can get them HERE (http://www.klipfarm.com/farm.php?page=info&klip=953)

And don't forget we have an All News klip,which contains posts from all the front page categories,(listed in time stamp order).

Is it possible in the Klipfolio to have a Kilp that shows the post?, Like the post that had been modified during the day?
I am just getting the hung of beeing updated with all that happens in the forum, but gosh, there is so much information that it takes quite some time

a klip with all the threats updated in the day. Something that could give a more real time update of the post.
Currently in order to now if there are new posts, I have to go to the furm and check it myself, scrolding down thru the page.

There's no plans at present to add a forum klip Dehc. Sorry. ;)

But i presume you know we have "view new posts" and "view todays active threads" links in your forum Welcome panel. ;)

Yep, I know that. It is just that I don't review the whole forum each time I visit. Actually I barely surf thru a section of the forum. So next time I come back, the stat is refreshed.
Being more specific, I access the forum many times during the day sometimes, and I check by little pieces. I mainly do this, since I access from work, and from home, plus at work my PC keeps rebooting each time she wants to take a brake (it is a SHE) ;)

PS: Actually I am aware, it would be a difficult klip, and I am not so sure if it will apeal, but I think that to the people that try to keep updated, it would be a lot easier.
Maybe not keeping the post of the day, but the last 20 post that had been updated (or 15)

We did have a klip for the forums a while back,but it causes problems with the online totals because it counts your visit twice. i.e if you are already logged in,and then view a thread via the klip.

It isn't possible to show "new posts" via a klip because of the way vB parses url's.

No problem, it was just an idea ( a good one :p )
I am trying to balance the time I spend online, so I am looking for precise ways to surf, and what better that an update directly to me, instead of me looking for the updates. That is why I like windows updates ;)
BTW: DID I loose my sig, or it is only me that cannot see it?

Yeah i know what you are saying.Like i said before we did have a forum klip a while back but it wasn't very effective.

By not having a klip It just means you'll have to spend more time on the forums. ;) :D

BTW,The reason we have klips for the front page,is because the virtua news system has an inbuilt backend rdf feed,so it is easier to set up.

Your Sig host, Villagephotos is very stingy when it comes to bandwidth. When you exceed the alloted bandwidth it shows up as an X.

DEHC look at my post in the web page forum. I posted a couple of freebie sig hosts that offer quite a bit of bandwidth for free, and the webspace is nice as well.

Klipfolio rocks. I just wished it could be integrated into the taskbar somehow. Like a tab, that scrolls in the taskbar, so it doesn't take up space on my desktop.

I resized my klip folio, looking for a solution of that. What I did actually was making it quite big, enought so every headline can show. Since I have 4 klips I made them all same size, and I located it in a corner of the desktop. When I don't read it, it goes to the system tray, and when I click it, it goes there. That way I can read all at once, and it doesn't bother graphic wise, plus since I keep my desktop clean (No icons at all+simple wallpaper) it doesn't look overwhelming the desktop with it. Disadvantage: You cannot read the news all the time. You have to manually open the klip everynow and then.
The idea of it scrolling in the taskbar is actually very good :D
