I cant remember the exact number but it was around 1200

The program won't launch unless you have DX 9 installed so I had to download it immediately after.

This program uses directx9 so get it now,

does anyone have the link to directx9 full?

i went to microsoft and they had the web installer but i dont want to re-download everytime time i format.

I will post some pics in my other thread of the benchmark screens for the guys with directx7 cards.
Some of the screens look like the doom 3 lighting and poly's
it is really cool.
and the fighter planes!!!

and how about those freaky trolls jumping to their death?

1394 here. Same settings as Conan. P4 1.6 768MB 800 RAMBUS, G4 Ti4200 (not overclocked)....

I was running emule, BulletProof Server, and Kazaa... :p That must have had something to do with it. I will do a bit more tweaking and install the latest drivers that were leaked 42.81's hehehe
We'll see how it adds up

ALso wtf is wrong with not being able to test all the game tests? I can't test the mothernature crap or whatever it is.. game test 4.. says not supported.. yet it doesn't say why it is not supported.. I don't like that.

I think game 4 must be the DX 9 test and since our cards are DX 8. By the way I'm using the 41.09 drivers as these gave the best results.

I think I'll try the 41.09.. because my damn dualview is farked..

I might upgrade my vid card in 6 months... but I am not going to right now because it works fine for the games that I play.

When changing drivers try this great app. from the nice gents at Driver Heaven:

It cleans out remnants of the old drivers which used to screw up my desktop colors whenever I would change drivers. There are instructions that come with it.

I had one heck of a time getting 3DMark03 downloaded. First I had a hard time finding a Mirror that would download it, then 2 times that I managed to get it downloaded the files were corrupted. I finlay got a good download from Guru3D.com..........:cool:

First run results are not too bad from what I have been seeing on the forums. I am using 40.72 drivers and loaded DX9 before I started the test. Note that 3DMark 2001SE will not run with DX9. I know that my card does not support DX9 but did read that it needs to be loaded for 03 to run.

Any way here it is...........

the first scene was kick azz reaching a wopping 450 fps then it went down hill from thier, every other test was givin me like 4,5,2 fps so i dont know i should post haha,

NVIDIA has released the latest drivers, version 42.68 for all 3DMark03 testing and benchmarking.
This driver will greatly improve your benchmark performance when running the 3DMark03.

My score increased by 123 points using the 42.68 drivers, however there were times when there was a transparent black band in the middle of my screen in some of the tests. I will observe more and try the older 3D Mark.

:D - 302 is not much of an OC compared to what i've seen. But, yeah - this is the #1 score for my specs.(P4@1.6mhz) and it's beating many P4's at 2.2mhz with the same card - also, many Ti 4200's too - i'm not sure why. My case stays at a constant 84F and CPU at 120F max - idle at 98F. (5 fans now)

Hey the 03 only will run one benchmark with either my radeon 7200 with latest drivers and my Geforce 440 DDr 64,and DX9 on both machines.


However the 2001se runs fine with DX9 and the Geforce with the 43.45 drivers from Nvidia.I benched 4907 3D marks (XP 2100+ cpu,512mb pc2100).Remember to restart your machine and it might work.First time I tried to install and imediatley run the app and it gave an error message.
