how do i get the character map?

Hi guys,

I need to know how to install the charactr map on windows 95

I dont have win95 computr in front of me and im trying to remember

its in control panel add/remove/?????

I think this should work egg.
control panel > add/remove programs,click the windows setup tab,click either system tools or accessories(can't remember which one it's listed under),then details, put a check next to character map, click ok, and ok again.You will probably need the CD to complete installation

Character Map is not installed in Windows 95 by default, but your computer manufacturer may have included it anyway. To check :

Click the Start button
Move the mouse over Programs
Select Accessories
If Character Map is listed there, then it is installed on your system.
If Character Map is not installed:

Add/Remove Programs in the control panel.
Click on the Windows Setup tab.
Highlight the Accessories option.
Click the Details button.
Check the Character Map check box.
Click the Apply button.
