I had a ATI 9800pro for...

about 6 hours then my buddy came over and talked me out of it :rolleyes: he gave me $225 plus his ATI 9700pro (bud has more money than brains) so I got a good deal....the 9800 was a 128mb and I really wanted the 256mb but it won't be out till end of month :( never install the 9800 so don't know what it'll do ??

The 9700pro kicks butt so I guess it'll hold me over till....

naw bud has money or likes rear ripped..lol & he can't find one on-line they seem to be giong fast & on backorder. Best Buy even pulled the 9800 off it's list...wonder why ?

Well I got a 9800pro again :) my sons Ti4600 burned up because the fan went out so i gave him the 9700pro.

I've had the 9800 for 3days and now they come out with the Nvidia FX 5900 :p oh well all these new cards seem to be overkill as far as I see it. Many peep's around the net are ready for sucide because the FX 5900 has now made the 9700/9800's obsolete...lol

Leave it to me too bring you the truth from real world experience & waste of money, an experience that the FastGames of the world know all so well but are afraid to admit :rolleyes: except me of coarse :angel:

If you have an ATI 8500 to 9500, Nvidia Ti 4200/4400/4600 then the only thing you are missing out on is...the use of (except 9500) Anti-Aliasing (*blur vs jag's :rolleyes:*) & Anisotropic filtering (*helps remove blur after you removed the jag's :rolleyes::rolleyes:*) and of coarse the most important of all.. the Hype !

Hmmm that Ti4600 had a Lifetime replacement.....maybe they will send me a FX5900 Ultra that will put me back in the thick of thing's :p and some lucky TZ member can have my old outdated 9700pro.....hehe

Oh how luck would have it.......had I sent you the Ti4600 instead of the Ti4400 might you have been the one getting a FX5900 Ultra for replacement ?
