View Full Version : Got the new Vid card installed

Got it in and installed. Using the 3.2 cat drivers. and RAGE to OC it. Got it rock solid at 302/302 and my 3d 2001 scores are at 7900. Tested when I first installed with default settings and XP drivers and got a score of 7210. But the down fall is that my temp shot up like a rocket its now cpu 52/126 and MOBO 30/86. so got to work on getting that down again.

126F doesn't seem all that bad (what do I know though) - I hear amd runs hotter - I have, on occasion, have seen 120-122 on my P4.

Glad to see Phish get the card installed....Hopefully it will make him move a little faster during MOHAA....
My rig has topped at 116F during heavy gaming with the side on....drops to about 98F with the side off...Still want to get it cooler though

with the side off and temp goes down then would have to say its still an airflow issue. if I take my side off the temp goes up 2-3 degrees.

I think FG had to prove that a new vid card wouldn't help my gaming...must of chopped me up half a dozen times with that damn submachine gun of his.

Naaah you were better & that one dam move you put on me when I chased ya down & you crouched down and was reloading spinning in all kind of circles then stood up and killed me...lol was the best I've seen so far.
Oh and I think you gave me a couple more rockets to the face :D
