View Full Version : Any tips for speeding up a connection

I just hooked up my peer to peer network 10/100 cards between two XP systems. Everything seems to work nice and fast but have found that when playing a network game(diablo tcp/ip) the slave system lags a fare bit. Worse then when I connect through my dialup modem and play online....
Any tips would be greatly appreciated
I can provide more detail if needed!

Thanks
Chris

This article should take you through most of my suggestions. Further, have you tried file transfers? If they are fast, then I dont see what could be slowing down your gaming.

you can also try this tweaker guide for a LAN.
