View Full Version : Bullet Proof Server Won't Max users download

I have a killer upload now, but my server won't max out the users downloads when they download from me.

I can upload at well over 500KB per second, yet users when they login are getting like 20-40KB, and if they login a second, third or 4th time, they are getting the same max speeds.

So instead of downloading 1 file at 160KB/sec they are downloading 4 files at 40KB/s...

Any advice? Reverend thought it might be my router effecting the download speed.. so I might try it without my router in the equation.
:D

Any other ideas I will definitely entertain.

Hello BB your FTP is closed.

*ediot - nevermind it's that damn Zone Alarm.

What version of BulletFTP are you using?

I used the newer version and it effectively capped the upload speeds for anyone who connected regardless of router.

I know that some FTP clients say they can "ignore" upload/download speeds, but I don't think it works that well.
