View Full Version : Nvidia Detonator 45.20 for Win2k/XP

A new Nvidia Detonator set has reached the web today. It is the mulilanguage version of 45.20 available for Windows 2000 and XP. The driver supports all graphics cards and is dated 07/10/2003. The driver is not WHQL certified.File size is 20 MB.

Remember these are not official, therefore they are considered beta, use at your own risk!

have these installed now. the installation is only manual for the rest of you. There is no installer.. you have to manually upgrade your current drivers.

No benchmarks or anything. Will check the TV out options right now.

Rechecking the driver now.. I don't think it was installed correctly.
Installed correctly. Tv functions work. Am satisfied.

This set is exeptionally good for my FX card. Choppy graphics have been eliminated and it gave me a 100 point increase in 3DMark 03!:D

Looks like a healthy performance boost, I heard the FXs are very underpowered and needed some good drivers to get all the spare power ;)

The FX shows its stuff in Direct X 9. In DX 8, it barely keeps up with a Ti 4200. Might get something better when I get to save up.;)

why do you want something better than the FX, arent most new games using DX9 ??

Well... I might buy your FX later then ;) Need a major upgrade from ATi 7200 :p

It's just a mid-level card with DX9 capabilities. ATI 9700 and up would be great!
