I just bought that camera. Came with an 8Mb Flash card, Composite cables, remote, Tripod, battery, etc..

I got it for 73600 yen with a 3 year warranty. The 8MB flash card records about 1minute 20 seconds of footage. They have cards up to 512MB. It also accepts DV microtapes. The microtapes record about 1hour 25 minutes worth of footage. Has the nightshot feature that lets you shoot in the dark. Lots of goodies. The LCD screen rotates and swivels, and is vibrant. It has a 120X digital Carl Zeis Vario-Sonnar Zoom lens. The camera connects over USB, but has the firewire, RCA, and S-video ports for further connectivity.

I got the gunmetal grey version. It weights 530 grams, and fits nicely in the palm of your hand. The zoom is real sweet. Audio recording is 2 channel, both right and left. It has a space for a separate light if we ever decide to purchase one.

That is my camera above.

At $625 US it seem a bit pricey. Especially with only an 8MG card. Looks good though and the lens is a high quality name.

There's a model that is a step down from mine, @$596.00 US. And it only comes with a 1 year warranty.

I was pretty disappointed with that 8MB memory stick, but I guess I'll use it for still photo shots. And buy a 256 or 512MB for short video. But I'll mostly use those MiniDV tapes for video recording.

It's my first Digital Video Camera. I have a hi8 camera i bought moons ago. Digital is 100X better.

Below is a fabulous review I found that fairly rates this camera:

I found an english manual online for it as well:
