Then where do I place the DLL in order to get the new icons working?

Hello Conan.

Grab this app: http://www3.telus.net/_/replacer/

Start app> it will give you instructions as:

Open C:\WINDOWS\system32 Drag netshell.dll from there to the open field of app

HIt enter

Drag and drop your replacement netshell.dll into the same field

Hit enter

App will copy and create backups for you.

Hit any key to exit

reboot.
