Does anyone know of software that can limit bandwidth on a software level?

For example, if I have several internet applications (such as an HTTP server, email server, FTP server, etc), how can I limit the bandwidth usage on these so no one uses all the bandwidth.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

Is there not a limit option with your server software ?

There is a limit in some of the software, but not all of it. Therefore, some of my applications will take all of my bandwidth when it needs it. I was hoping to limit the bandwidth on some of the applications so this does not happen.

Just wanted to post this incase someone else wanted the same thing. I finally found this application that controls specific bandwidth usage at the kernal level per application. I have not had a chance to try it but it looks promising :D

Here is the URL:
Bandwidth Controller (http://bandwidthcontroller.com/index.html)
