View Full Version : How to resize a Windows 2003 partition? gicio November 9th, 2003, 20:47 PM Hi! How can I resize on a windows 2003 server a partition ? Regards, gicio Big Booger November 9th, 2003, 22:25 PM Try using partition commander. I am not sure if it is compatible but it should be. If that doesn't work you could always try partition magic, or fdisk. HowardR January 23rd, 2004, 22:46 PM Acronis makes a nice product called Partition Expert at http://www.acronis.com/products/partitionexpert/. Otherwise you can use the utility in W2K3, BUT... like in FDISK, you will loose your data on the drive, so backup to CDR or tape. Admin Tools/Computer Mgmt/Disk Mgmt/ right click on the drive of your choice for the pull down menu. Jonny Bonkers July 22nd, 2004, 21:02 PM If you got free space on the same drive as you main operation system then in drive management you select your current partition hold ctrl key then click free space, right click then change size. hey presto! Big Booger July 23rd, 2004, 02:06 AM Jonny Bonkers that is a great tip. Thanks!
