what p2p applications should someone use so they wont get sued i heard if u disable sharing in kazza u cant get sued is this true?

Sort of true, unless they catch you downloading ie you download from a 'RIAA' computer user :eek:

Still, kazaa lite ++ and winmx, seem good for music and vids, while Emule etc are fairly good and have loads of stuff to download.

Any application that cash_site mentioned above and good. Just remember that nothing will be 100% effective. There is an application called Peer Guardian that supposedly blocks known IP addresses of RIAA and other company Bots.

I would 2nd stripes recommendation regardless of what p2p u use get peer guardian or atleast their IP block list and make a custom rule in your firewall software to block those ips.

i recomment the old fashioned and still the best Peer to Peer service which is known as MONEY


hehe ;)

peer gaurdian is a must and you need to keep it updated.

Remember to check the peer gaurdian logs to be thrilled with seeing what kind of IP addresses and who they are that just attempted to connect to your computer for whatever reason...........
