has anyone gotten Java to work for Firebird, i have the latest version, everytime i try install java it says outofspace? anyidea whatthis could be? or is it just a fualt in Firebird?

I'm assuming that you are trying to install the latest Sun Java version? Your browser should have nothing to do with that...I d/l'd it using Firebird and all went fine.

iv tyred the latest firebird no go it dont have a java plugin, doesnt show any site that uses java like gaming sites. i tyred puttingin mozilla java and found a site that tested mozilla and it shows the page break icon, on java applets

The Sun java works fine on my Firebird, give the link to the site that doesn't work.

I don't know what that "out of space" is unless your HD is out of space for what java needs to work, my java JAR file is set to 50mb which I think is default.

Get the latest Sun Java d/l from here: http://www.java.com/en/index.jsp

when it loads you should be able to go into the Java Console in Control Panel and choose which browsers you want to use it with...

i have firebird 0.7 installed, into a ramdrive, which has 80 mb of free space, satill no go, whats the latest build of firebirf? or thunder bird whats the differances between them?

Latest FB is 0.7. I dunno why yours isn't workin Bud...Have you tried d/l JAVA thru a different browser?

its not been working for java enven though its enabled, i increased the ram tgo 120mb to help no luck fulshed cache, wondering if thiers a install version, the one i have is just a exe that runs from its dir,
