Works in sys tray and uses very little resources. Works with many apps including Firebird.

Occasionally you need to check the spelling of words in an application that does not include a spelling checker and you don't want to launch your word processor just for that. This is when tinySpell becomes handy. It is a small utility that allows you to easily and quickly check the spelling of words in any Windows application. tinySpell monitors your typing on the fly and alerts you whenever it detects a misspelled word. It also checks the spelling of every word you copy to the clipboard.

Option 1:
While you are typing, tinySpell monitors the text you enter and whenever it detects a misspelled word it beeps and the tinySpell icon in the system tray turns from white to yellow.
Does this mean that it will work in TZ? It would be nice to have spell check capability in TZ.

I think you have to be using Firebird. Not sure how it goes with Mozilla.

tinySpell works well. Here's a slight bug in it...well not really a bug, but a weakness. If it is set to "check on the fly" and you enter a password into your browser (or anywhere really), that password is checked for spelling and since quite often passwords aren't words, then it will be flagged as an incorrectly spelt word!!
The problem?? People can open tinySpell and see the last word checked which just might be your password!!! Caught me by surprise when I opened tinySpell only to see my password there in full glory!! (It looked really funny typed out because I only ever see it as ******) LOL :p
