I'm trying to learn a good database program. looking at MYSQL... any people out there have any good suggestions on how to go about learning this prog, any good books or tutorials?

The best site would be its homepage, linked by Conan - good work bro :D If you are looking for professional experience, you would have to go for Oracle 8i or newer. Some companies simply use M$ Access DB. Good Luck.
