I read this in PC world: system crashes may create large crash dump files - run search for *.dmp and delete the files - I found one large one myself.

you can turn those off all you have to do is do a right mouse then proterties on my computer, advanced setup/recovery from thier you can make it send a alert when you crash that way you dont auot reboot, and set debugging info, so when it blue screens it doesnt take 1.5 gigs of ram and turn it into a log file lol,

I have one, but it's only 64 kb in size.

so uncheck "write an event to sytem log" and check "send an admin alert"?

I don't recommend that. Just choose "small memory dump" from the dropdown menu.

LK I thought you have window washer ? it has a option to clean dump files :)

Good tip though for those who don't have windows washer ;)

well mine found nothing I guess after my reformat a few months ago my pc hasn't takin dump
