Good read. I didn't get to every post. But I will. Seems to offer more insight into the real world of Iraq.

Nabbed that from:

Been reading him for months, Boog. His early stuff is out in book form, he writes for the Guardian newspaper and appears on BBC's Newsnight. A cracking Baghdad blogger is Riverbend: a really bright and articulate Iraqi woman (and she's as mad as hell):

She seems pro-militant.. but under it all you can tell she is a moderate.. who despises Bush. :D

Well at the risk of being flamed, I'd have to say that I don't like bush. Well at least I'd like to see less bush.

What forum is this again? :o

The question is not whether you like him or not, but rather has he improved the quality of life of Americans? And then you have to ask, how has his presidency impacted the world?

There are always two sides to every coin, some choose to favor one and ignore the other. I try to flip it back and forth to get a good view of the situation..

I can say this, if I lived in the US, I'd probably be a lot more supportive of his presidency than living abroad. When you live outside of the US, you get a different perspective, and a different take on the situation.

Has he done good work? Yes. Has he done some terrible things? Yes. He is like any other president.. you gotta take the good with the bad. Perhaps in 2004 time will tell whether he has enough public support or not.

Well BB some interesting questions come to mind...

What do those living outside of Australia think of our PM?? Do you guys even remember his name? :p Has he done anything particularly good (or bad) that stands out?

Mr. Howard took a hit with those refugees.. but other than that I think he is well respected throughout the world. But it'd be interesting to actually know how many Americans even know the name of the Aussie PM. I'd chance to say less than 20%.. but you never know.
:D
