Reformatted PC Norton not working

Hello all, I hope this is posted in the correct place.. if not.. Please forgive me.
Here is the scoops:
Re formatted my Pc, installed WIN XP ( Had Home ) Everything went fine, went to installed Norton 2002, which has installed fine on my other Pc's ( 2) Install ws fine. Went to live updated I get this:

I can not register, updated or ( here is the crazy part ) Connect to almost any pages of Norton.
Any ideas? From what I have learned looking into this, it has happened to others before me. Any help would be awesome. If I need to post anymore info about the PC please let me know!
