Go to Start > Run and type regsvr32 /i shell32.dll
Hit enter.
now, that is something that I would love to do for some of my users that cannot find their files (or only know how to open an excel file from excel, having no clue where in the hard drive is it) :p
I see this after I run the command -

AVG detected a trojan (Backdoor.Netbus.AD on C:\spawn.exe) the first time I did this. But the problem remains.
1. Start Registry Editor (Regedt32.exe).
2. Locate and then click the Default value under the following keys in the registry if this problem occurs with folders:
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Directory\shell
If this problem occurs with drives:
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Drive\shell
3. Click Modify on the Edit menu.
4. Type none in the Value data box, and then click OK.
5. Quit Registry Editor.
