Dual Boot WinXp & Win98

My system is running on WinXP. I want to install Win98 (also) in a different Fat32 partition without uninstalling WinXP. In doing so, the computer freezes after a few steps. Is there a way to install Win98 in a different partition without uninstalling WinXP first. Pl. help.
(Microsoft recommends installing Win98 first and then WinXP. I do not want to do the entire exercise from the scratch.)
