Contacts list does'nt show in pane

Hello,

I have just re-intalled my computer and had no problem transfering my
messages and foldres in Outlook Express.

The problem is that when I transfer my CONTACTS LIST from my old Windows
Address Book File, during the transfer my contacts shows in the bottom left
hand panel and when the transfer is finished...they vanished.
Although when I type the begining of an email address in an email the auto
fill works great...so my addresses are here...but why don't they show up ???

I have a large contacts list around 1800 addresses, and I have checked the
file with Windows Address Recovery too.

Any Idea ?

Make sure contacts view is enabled.

View > Layout > Contacts.
