Spellchecker does not work in Office XP

Hi

XP Office was installed on my PC yesterday, it all seems to be working fine except that spellchecker does not work in Word, Excel or Powerpoint :confused: .

BTW I'm not very technically minded, so please treat me as if I am not very bright and explain simply :)

what kind of error does it makes, have u set up the language u want to spellcheck?

If not open word, on the top menu go to
Tools/Set Language/Language

and select it then it should spellcheck.

tell me if it works

I installed word again using Office XP disk... and it worked.
