I downloaded a free MP4 to DVD creater software, and it brought along some junk.
It changed my homepage to Babylon or something which I have corrected. However when I USED to click on that next tab up top...it used to give me the option to open a bowser in private etc. or just open another site. Now when I click on the tab, it tries to open site 184.73.251.163 which I then get a message that IE can not open that site etc. Need help, please. Mike
Look for 'Babylon Toolbar' or 'Babylon' in Add/Remove programs. If it's listed there uninstall it.

Here is the solution. I did it and everything is fine now.
New Tab IE8 Hijacked
When you click on a new tab, its meant to show "about:Tabs" by default
If you get http://gg.blogpear.com/vscript/newTB.psc?&ub= this is how to repair it.
Open Regedit and go to : HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\AboutURLs
On the right pane double click on the tabs value and change it to : res://ieframe.dll/tabswelcome.htm.
