do you have to download the whole package, as my internal WMP update doesnt detect there is a new version??

Try Windows Update , not WMP update.

What version does it show? WMP > Help > About

Nothing shows up in Windows Update. My version is 10.00.00.3646.

Same here... surely they should have a patch for it, as I think it is supposed to supplment the holes found in this month's round of windows patches :confused:

Oh well, will wait and see.

I posted the patch on the front page a couple of days ago. (sorry, forgot to post it in the forums :o )

install that patch and your version will update to the current build 3802
