Hi all, I did a search and came up with nothing, so hopefully I am not wasting your time. This is what I have posted at other forums, to no avail. I am running xp home.
Hi all. New problem.
When I try to view system info, I get this error. I have received this error before and fixed it through the language options. Now it won't fix at all. Why won't the settings that I choose save, and why does this keep coming up? How can I fix it for good?

It explains the language options workaround that you have probably tried,but there is also second option on there which may help.
Backup the following file, and open the original in a text editor(notepad or Word)
C:\WINDOWS\PCHEALTH\HELPCTR\System\sysinfo\commonFunc.js
Locate the following line in the file:
case '2': str = TAG_COUNTRY28; break;
Change "TAG_COUNTRY28" to "TAG_COUNTRY2". Save the
file.
