I need to assign write access to the IIS user account from a different computer in order to access a database. My problem is that I can't actually do this between computers, because it doesn't search. Is there a way I can do that??

I need to assign write access to the IIS user account from a different computer in order to access a database. My problem is that I can't actually do this between computers, because it doesn't search. Is there a way I can do that??
For a domain acount should be straightforward IUSR_computername@domain for a workgroup recreate the username/password combination on both machines.
Not sure that's the way to go though. Active pages normally use hidden database/user/pass combinations to access the database - at least that's how I've done PHP/MySQL before.
