Windows problem!

Some weird things are happening to my windows xp pro OS. A few windows within the program do not work any more. Windows Media Player, the find files program, user accounts window, restore system window, and java scripts on web sites do not work at all.

I already scanned for a virus, did a system scan, and defragmented, nothing worked.

Is there anything else I can do to fix this problem or do I have to reinstall window XP?

you can do a repair install on it...it will reinstall xp but leave all your progs intacted. You will just have to reinstall your device drivers.
