Well.. i'm not sure what's causing it, but i have updated my bios just recently after i went back to HOME, and all my problems have been solved for the most part.. hehe
now its running great..

Yeah, it was Home that was causing the problems..
i've had to reinstall since 2000 gave me an even worse BSOD and i couldn't use the OS at all :eek:
maybe i'm just doing something wrong.....
i'm in the same situation as Fastgame, haven't tweaked my system to the smallest bit, didn't touch any kind of tweak program/reg key rather..

same thing for me, after using it for around 2-3 months without a reformat, it starts to run very unstable and BSOD's , ugh..
Which is exactly why i switched to win2k for the time being.. if XP...
well, the code you have there should work perfectly fine..

just drag and drop the icon you want to be in the quick launch menu and you should be set :)
if that doesn't work, right click in a blank space in the quick launch, then select open folder, and...
i have the exact same thing, its because my network card isn't in use..
It doesn't bother me that much, i just leave it there..
but if you want to remove it, i think what you need to do is click on...

i heard somewhere that windows update doesn't work because the language entry in IE is erased somehow..
to fix this, go to Tools > internet options , click on "Languages" , click on "Add" and then...
There is no "Browse" button because its not needed :)
To install a screensaver, what you do is just copy the .scr file to C:\windows\system32\ and select it from the Display properties ;)

I think i just figured out what it is...
if you have the "Set it and forget it" option on in Diskeeper, this will defrag your computer every now and then, even while you are using it...

as far as i remember, usually on philips monitors, the model number is either on the top-right corner of the screen, if not there, then it must be on the back :)
