Migrate an existing document management system to SharePoint Portal Server 2003 ???
Hi!!
Does someone have any experience how to migrate an existing document management
system to SharePoint Portal Server 2003???
About the current document management
System:
It’s a “self made” document management
System…..
Alle documents are word or pdf document.
In the future the customer will only use word document.
The current document are only associated to each other with links in the documents.
The documents have something like a hierarchy:
(Just a sample)
Company
|
----------- Division New York
| |
| ------Marketing
|
|
------------Division L.A.
|
------Development
To find documents the customer must click this links in each document or
just use the windows search (it’s not a joke!!! ).
What is the best workaround for this migration?
