Question Clearing out start up (msconfig)

I go through my start up for time to time to see what is running in the backgournd and making sure I don't have anything in there I don't want. Today I found some items I do not know what they are or how to remove them I have tried going to http://www.sysinfo.org/startuplist.php to see if i could find these items with no luck. the items are:

    "WToolsA" and "VTPreset"

If anyone knows of another place to look please let me know.

Regarding "WToolsA", two solutions to try.

1.)Is there a program called WinTools listed in Add/Remove? If there is try uninstalling it.

2.) Use a Spyware removal tool to remove it. I recommend you check out Egghead's Spyware removal thread

Reagarding "VTPreset". Check out one of our previous threads VTPreset.exe

Thanks I have looked at the treads you mentioned and have followed the advice given. I am running some adware removal programs and hopefully this will take care of the problem. I'll keep you informed.
