    Well EFC thats just prooves my point that you learn something new every day, thanx, will keep that in mind, although I'm not sure I have ever seen a BIOS that allows you to do that, but then I have never checked I just set it to boot from cd

    Shadow - GraemeK, There is a lot to digest in this suggestion. It was written for a Sony notebook, however I think it could be use on others.

    well i got WIN311 installed all i need is BB to upload Win95 on floppy to me then i can get things rolling again,

    if you had a cable you could use laplink to send data over 2 computers in dos

    create a directory called cabs

    and copy the win95 or 98 cab files there

    simply type setup in the cab directory and win98 will install without difficulties

    well thier both connected via a network cable to my router which has the notebooks mac address set in the dchp static ip so its supposed to send a ip to its mac address,
