packets?
my network connection is lag like 300 ping and i donno why, it was fine before! i look at the connection and the packets send and receive slowly and often stop altogether for minutes! how do i fix this? i dont have packets being filtered and my metric value under tcp/ip properties is at 1 so i donno what causes this but i hate it!
oh, i have dsl

Try that link. It should test to see what is good or bad with your setup. Alternatively you can use http://www.pcpitstop.com
Use their internet test and it should check it for you.
You might also want to try uninstalling your network device and reinstalling it. Another thing to check is for a virus that might be stealing your bandwidth..
