    Exclamation Page File Cleaner?

is thier such a program to lower pagefile usage?, I been looking at my system preformance over the past week, and i found that leaving shareza open for 3 days that xp wil consume 153-190 mb of ram, so i use superuitlities to clear 140 mb of ram thats the better then cacheman xp. it clears about 3 mb, but my pagefile usage doesnt go down its always at 110-134 of 300 mb i dont want it taking soo much considering if i restart the comp it will only take like 3 mb in the first 8 hours,

many more free apps as well - http://www.sysinternals.com/ntw2k/fr...gedefrag.shtml

I ran it - now it shows pagefile with 1 fragment (which is normal)

Wouldn't it be more desirable to defragment a file that is not in use?

    Perhaps cacheset? - http://www.sysinternals.com/ntw2k/source/cacheset.shtml
Use CacheSet to performance tune the system Cache size in a way not possible without tweaking internal variables the way CacheMan does.
