I know I often recommend this, but have you tried using XP's system restore?
I don't have such restore point.
I am going to go out on a limb here, and suggest a tool that was designed for NT, but may work with XP.
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?kbid=184305
ftp://ftp.microsoft.com/bussys/utilities/hotfix/
Try that FTP link. Download the hotfix.exe file. then the txt file. txt has the commands for usage.
I believe though if you installed these hotfixes as a group, that unless you have a restore point, uninstalling them might be impossible. In fact MS recommends reinstalling the OS if you cannot remove the troubled hotfix:
http://www.microsoft.com/windows2000...ws_hotfix_adbb
It says for 2000 but I believe it is applicable to XP.
works only in 2000
tnks anyway
What version of windows are u running?

Looks like XP. Well, you can remove the hotfix by system restore(but you have no such restore point) or a good'o reformatt.
One point though, if this hotfix is causing you problems, and you want it uninstalled, then I don't think you should install Service Pack 2, it will install ALL hotfixes since SP1 plus other recommended stuff.

If you want to remove hotfix from windows just copy that
"%SystemRoot%\$NtUninstallKB824141$\spuninst\spuninst.exe" to run and press run
(works for xp hotfix KB84141)
Well glad to hear you got it fixed.
