    Real Player and sound capturing

    i have some songs i like in real player format. unfortunately i have to be connected to the internet to listen.

    is there a way or a program that can absorb the music being played so i do not have to be connected to the internet?

    You can try Real Alternative available here:

    I'm not sure it will solve your problem, I just hate having Real Player on my system. Give it a try.

    well i seemed to have reached a standstill. i am unable to find any program that takes real player 'absorbs it' into another format- mp3, win amp or other.

    <sigh>

    I finally found a good, easy to use and cheap (13 US$) realplayer media converter program. It even does batch files and converts into mp3 and wav formats.

    Akram Audio Converter 1.1
