    DVD Burner Time

    Got me a DVD-RW DL. It's a Pioneer DVR-108.

Initial impressions are good. It's great to fill up a DVD with all my data instead of using multiple CDs. Only got 4X single layer media at the moment but I should be able to overspeed this to 8X. Can't wait for 16X media to become mainstream! Haven't tried any double-layer media yet.

$175 (Australian). Most Double Layer burners here are $160-180 and Single Layer burners are $130-140.

Nice in specs...but not in looks. I just got it OEM (so it also matches my old Pioneer DVD-ROM) and i looks great in my retro beige PC case!!!
